A judge appointed by W. It may be overturned on appeal, but if not, the groups that are intended to be suppressed have the option to vote anyway, though it will be difficult. If they vote the right way, we can get the legislature to change the rules back.

Sadly, the main goal of the Democratic Party of North Carolina is not to win back the House and the Senate -- it's to win enough seats in the House and the Senate that Roy Cooper's vetoes won't be overridden. That's the best realistic outcome, though it sucks mightily.
